A set of practical tools to help you prepare and check artwork files for book cover production. Select a tab above to get started.

Generates the exact artwork dimensions for your cover document — overall document width and height — based on the trim size and the spine width provided to you by your Account Manager. Four binding types are supported:

• Limp / Paperback — standard perfect-bound softcover.
• Limp with Flaps (8pp) — softcover with folding flaps front and back.
• Dust Jacket — printed jacket for a cased (hardback) book, with flaps and turn-ins.
• Printed Paper Case (PPC) — printed cover wrapped directly onto hardback boards.

How to use: Select your cover type, then enter the page trim height and width and the spine width from your estimate. For jackets and PPCs also select the board thickness. Results update automatically. Click Download PDF Template to save a to-scale vector PDF you can place directly into InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or Illustrator as a guide layer. The layouts are created at the finished size — don't forget to add a 3mm bleed allowance in your document setup.

Generates a print-quality EAN-13 ISBN barcode as a vector PDF sized to your exact requirements. The barcode is drawn as native vector shapes — not a bitmap image — so it will print cleanly at any size without pixelation. An optional EAN-5 five-digit price supplement can be added alongside the main barcode.

How to use: Enter your ISBN-13 number (hyphens are stripped automatically). Optionally enter a 5-digit add-on supplement. Set your preferred width and height in millimetres. A preview updates as you type. Click Download PDF Barcode and place the PDF into your cover artwork.
